This set is part of the new limited edition Beethoven collection of Thun Studio, situated near Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. The Studio specializes in the design and manufacturing of the exclusive sets that cannot be mass-produced because of their artistic complexity. Among the clients of Thun Studio are Vaclav Havel, the President of Czech Republic, and members of the Norwegian Royal Family.
The Beethoven set was designed by the chief designer of Thun Studio, Jiri Lastovicka. 500 of these sets were produced. This set is #477. It is signed by the designer and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
