The NEW chrome MACAP Electronic Doserless grinder is finally here. This all NEW doserless grinder has the worm-gear-driven stepless adjustment, which makes minute adjustments a snap since they can be made with the use of just two fingers.

It also comes in chrome, which coordinates nicely with stainless espresso machines such as Quick Mill, Isomac, Giotto, Euro 2000, Valentina, Pasquini, etc.

The power cord comes from the bottom, not from the side.

Here is the best part: It's not just electronic -- it's digital as well, unlike Mazzer electronic grinders, which still use mechanical potentiometers. Mechanical potentiometer adjustments are trial and error, requiring guesswork as to how much of an adjustment you need to make in order to actually achieve your desired setting. With digital adjustment there is no guesswork. The time is displayed in one-tenth of a second intervals. To achieve your desired amount, dose once, and measure the dispensed amount. Then divide the amount dispensed by the time on the display. Now divide the desired amount by the results and that will tell you what to set the time for to achieve your desired amount.

For example: The display for a double reads 6.0. You measure your dispensed amount; it's 14 grams. Divide 14 grams by 6.0 seconds and your results are 2.333. That tells you your grinder dispenses 2.333 grams of coffee per second. You want 17 grams? Simply divide 17 grams by 2.333 and the results tell you to set the time on the digital display to 7.3 seconds.
