Johan Rohde was the first artist with whom Georg Jensen collaborated. In 1906 Johan Rohde ordered some hollowware, which he had personally designed for his newly built home, from the silversmith Georg Jensen; a few years later a lifelong collaboration commenced. In 1915 Johan Rohde designed the Acorn pattern, which, with its unique combination of subtle lines and striking ornamentation, swiftly became world-renowned.
